Pitch and Putt can be found in Mount Juliet, Callan Abbey, Kilmacow and Lacken. (Kilkenny City) The 18 hole Pitch and Putt facility at Mount Juliet is perhaps unique, providing water hazards, dog legs and bunkers all coming into play amid a tree sheltered, tranquil setting.

Game angling is the best on the rivers Nore and Suir and their tributaries with some trout and salmon on the river Barrow. Coarse anglers will especially enjoy the River Barrow where there is excellent bream fishing from late April to October. Rudd is in plentiful supply in summer and pike fishing is more rewarding in the cooler months.
